Seeing the master of bass tonight. Mike Watt is one of my few heroes. Not just as a musician but also as a human being. 'Be like Mike (Watt)' is as good a personal code as any.
Asked Kenny B to join me but I would be happy to go alone with my fellow Watt-age fans. Hope I can stay up enough to see the show and actually sleep tonight. I'm thinking of getting earplugs so that I don't have a lot of ringing in my ears.
Got up at 620 or so this morning, took care of the usual, coffee, breakfast and school lunches. Worked out and came home, showered, coffee and cheesecake. Took Martha's car to the shop for engine light and to change oil. Hope it won't cost too much.
